Our Founder
Pamela Brief, PLA, ASLA, worked at award-winning firms such as P.O.D., Emmet Wemple & Associates, The Jerde Partnership, NUVIS and Walt Disney Imagineering before founding Pamela Studios in 2012. The experience included organizing large, complex teams and schedules while seeing a project through from high concept to construction field support. Pamela has been instrumental in launching the Emergency Schoolyard Design Volunteers as part of the National COVID-19 Outdoor Learning Initiative to help bring children safely back to school.
Our Studio
Our strength in the collaborative, creative, and technical realms of landscape architecture make us an ideal connector between disciplines and between a client and the design team. We are at home facilitating conversations around design goals, on the construction site, and are experts at meeting a client’s main objectives within budget and on schedule. Pamela Studios’ warm, collaborative approach builds strong relationships and maintains open communication for an effective and efficient working environment. We strive to improve quality of life for people where they live, work, go to school, and recreate. While best known for innovative work with Walt Disney Imagineering, we are proudest of our work in public schools and universities to support students’ physical and mental health.
